Terms of sale — Novotion

These terms apply to every purchase in the Novotion shop on novotion.ai. Please read them before you buy: you accept them at checkout. They follow Spanish law, in particular Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU).

You can buy as a consumer or as a business. The consumer rights in these terms, such as the right of withdrawal, apply when you buy as a consumer.

What we sell

We sell card decks for workshops, for example the Innovation Board deck, Megatrends cards, Problem Cards and Build–Borrow–Buy deal cards. You can see the full range and each deck's main features on the Products page.

Each deck comes in two formats:

Printed deck: shipped to you by post.
Digital deck: a print-at-home PDF that you download right after payment.

These are standard editions. Customized decks made to your specifications are not sold through the shop. Write to hello@novotion.ai and we will send you a separate quote.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros and include VAT.
Shipping costs for printed decks are shown in the cart and on the checkout page before you pay.
The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page, by card or with other methods offered there, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where available.
Stripe processes the payment. We never see or store your card details.

How to order

Add the decks you want to your cart.
Choose your shipping destination.
Accept these terms and, if your order includes digital decks, the waiver of the right of withdrawal explained below.
Click Checkout. You go to Stripe's secure payment page.
Check your details and pay.
You see a confirmation page, and Stripe emails you a receipt.

Before you pay, you can review and change your cart, and check your details on Stripe's page.

The contract is made in English or Spanish, whichever language you are using on the site. We keep a record of your order, and you get the receipt by email.

We handle your personal data as explained in our privacy policy.

Delivery (printed decks)

We ship printed decks to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the other EU member states. For the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or addresses outside the EU, please write to hello@novotion.ai before you order.

Dispatch: within 3 business days of your order.
Estimated delivery after dispatch: 2–4 business days in Spain and 5–10 business days in the rest of the EU.
Latest delivery: in any case, within 30 days of your order.

If your order has not arrived within these times, write to us and we will look into it.

Digital decks

The download link appears on the confirmation page right after payment.
Save the files on your device. The link stays valid for 30 days.

Licence

Buying a digital deck gives you a licence to print and use it for personal use, or for internal use within your own organization.

You may not resell, redistribute or publish the files or printed copies of them.
Trademarks and copyright remain with the owner, Rafael Salazar Novo.
Frameworks created by third parties are credited to their authors.

Right of withdrawal

Printed decks

If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase of printed decks within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you, or a third party you name (other than the carrier), receive the decks.

To withdraw, tell us before the period ends. Email hello@novotion.ai with a clear statement, or use the model form below. Using the form is optional.

What happens next:

You send the decks back to us within 14 days of telling us that you are withdrawing.
You pay the direct cost of returning them.
We refund all payments we received from you, including the standard outbound delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
We refund you with the same payment method you used, and you pay no fees for the refund.
We may hold back the refund until we receive the decks or you show proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first.
You are liable for any loss in value caused by handling the decks beyond what is needed to check their nature, characteristics and condition.

Digital decks: no withdrawal once the download starts

Under article 103.m of the TRLGDCU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose this right.

So, at checkout, you expressly agree to receive the digital deck immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download starts.

If your order includes both printed and digital decks, you keep the right to withdraw from the printed ones.

Guarantee and returns

All products come with the legal guarantee of conformity under the TRLGDCU, as amended by Royal Decree-law 7/2021:

Printed decks: 3 years from delivery.
Digital decks (digital content supplied once): 2 years from supply.

If a deck arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, write to hello@novotion.ai within a reasonable time and include photos. We will replace it or refund you, at no cost to you.

If a digital file is faulty or does not match its description, write to us as well, and we will put it right under the legal guarantee.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, email hello@novotion.ai. We will answer within one month.

If you are a consumer, you can also contact the consumer authorities in your region.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can bring any dispute before the courts of your place of residence. In all other cases, the courts of Madrid have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
